Go Games Rules Under 11 Hurling/Camogie
Pitch Dimensions: 100 metres by 60 metres approx
Sliotar: U 11 – Smart Touch Sliotar
Rules
- Eleven a side
- Normal Playing Rules to apply
- Square ball rule is not applied
- A player may solo the sliotar on their hurley once, for a maximum of 8 steps in any one possession
- 65’s to be taken from the centre of the field
- A player may not score direct from a puck-out
- Normal scoring system to apply
- Games are 20 minutes duration (can be reduced if deemed appropriate and agreed upon by both teams)
All Schools involved in Go Games are asked to practice Respect for Referees, Players, Teachers and Schools at all times
In the event of a tie:
The following guidelines will apply
- No scoring difference will apply.
A tie with two teams:
- “Head-to-Head” will determine the winner
- If both teams had drawn in the group game the following shall apply
- A five-minute game will be played to determine the winner.
- If it is still a draw after five minutes, a Golden Goal will determine the winner.
